Luigi Valio is a psychologist and PhD student at Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Naples, Italy. His research examines how the brain anticipates and predicts the mechanical properties of the physical world, with a particular focus on the interplay between action and perception. Currently, he investigates how the exploration and understanding of tools are influenced by the congruity or incongruity of their surrounding environments. To achieve this, he designs and conducts behavioral and eye-tracking experiments that employ visual search paradigms. His doctoral research is supervised by Dr Giovanni Federico.
