Francesco Maria Soldano is a psychologist and PhD student at Suor Orsola Benincasa University. His research lies at the intersection of clinical and social psychology, exploring how beliefs about free will and related constructs influence human cognition and behaviour. He is currently collecting data from patients in two Clinical Psychology Units, three Addiction Services (Ser. D.) and a Mental Health Centre, all managed by the Local Health Authority ("ASL Napoli 1 Centro"; Naples, Italy). He will soon extend his research to individuals detained at the Giuseppe Salvia Correctional Facility in Poggioreale (Naples, Italy). Nadia Gamboz supervises his doctoral research.
