Flavia De Simone is a cognitive psychologist and Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) at Suor Orsola Benincasa University. Her research currently focuses on Human-Computer Interaction and Affective Computing, particularly the intersection of human factors and adaptive systems, with a particular interest in intelligent monitoring and emotion-aware technologies. She investigates human behaviour by integrating cognitive psychology principles with advanced tools such as eye-tracking and EEG devices, and designs systems that enhance interaction efficiency and user experience.
